Delivery: 30 Days After Award 0001 Material to Install OSP to Bldgs 142, 147, 150 1 LO and 890 at Glynco, GA.: Per Task 1 of SOW Firm Fixed Price 0002 Install OSP to Bldgs 142, 147, 150 and 890 at 1 LO Glynco, GA: per Task 2 of SOW Firm Fixed Price Background This Statement of Work (SOW) establishes and defines the requirements for the engineering, furnishing, installation, testing and documentation of inside and outside plant fiber optic and copper cabling at Glynco, GA. 2. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and all other components necessary to install, test and document inside and outside plant fiber optic and copper cabling at Glynco, GA All work performed in the design and installation shall conform to BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services International) specifications to ensure consistency with current codes, standards, and regulations. The following BICSI publications apply. Outside Plant Design Reference Manual, 4th Edition and Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual, 12th edition. 3. General. 3.1. Drawings. The contractor shall update existing as-built drawings or provide new as built drawings of the outside cable plant to reflect the installation of the fiber optic cabling detailed above. The as-built drawings shall be documented and furnished to FLETC upon completion of all work performed under this contract. As-built drawings shall be in the latest version of AutoCAD. The contractor shall furnish FLETC with an electronic copy of the as-built AutoCAD file and a hard copy of the as-built drawing (ANSI E size). 3.2. Site Restoration. All non-paved surfaces (grass, sod, gravel, etc.) must be restored within 7 days. Trenches and splice pits must be mechanically compacted to compensate for future earth settlement after backfilling. All roads, streets, sidewalks of concrete or asphalt construction must be restored or repaved within 3 days from the time of back filling and compaction. 3.3. Contractor Damage. The contractor is responsible for immediate repair to all utilities damaged during construction. 3.4. Grounding. Contractor shall ensure all installed equipment is secured and grounded to industry standards. 7 4. Task 1: Material to Install OSP to Buildings 142, 147, 150 and 890 at Glynco, GA. 4.1. List of materials to be provided by the Contractor 4.1.1. Two (2) 72" L 48"W x 36"H Quartzite Heavy Duty Hand Hole 4.1.2. Approximately 1000 Ft.4inch Schedule 40 PVC Conduit 4.1.3. Approximately 2400 Ft. of 6 Strand Singlemode Fiber Optic Cable 4.1.4. Approximately 3500 Ft. of 48 Strand Singlemode Fiber Optic Cable 4.1.5. Approximately 2400 Ft. of 12 Strand Singlemode Fiber Cable 4.1.6. Two (2) 12 Port Rack Mount Fiber Patch Panel 4.1.7. Thirty-Six (36) SC Fiber Optic Connectors 4.1.8. Other supplies as needed 5. Task 2: Install OSP to Buildings 142, 147, 150 and 890 at Glynco, GA 5.1. Contractor shall provide and install the 72" Lx 48"W x 36"H handhole near building 142 along the pedestrian walkway. 5.2. Contractor shall provide and install approximately 400 feet schedule-40 PVC conduit from newly installed 72"x48"x 48" hand hole along the pedestrian walkway into the 4'X4'X4' handhole near range road and legislative road. 5.3. Contractor shall provide and install the 72" Lx 48"W x 36"H handhole near building 150 (90 Day Storage) along the access road. 5.4. Contractor shall provide and install approximately 600 feet schedule-40 PVC conduit from newly installed 72"x48"x 48" hand hole along the access road to Bldg. 150 into the handhole across Legislative Road. 5.5. Contractor shall provide and install approximately 2400 feet of 48 Strand Singlemode loose-tube fiber optic cable from HH-402-3 to building Manhole 402-10, near Bldg. 166 using the existing manhole system. 5.6. Contractor shall splice in the 43 strand fiberoptic cable into the existing 96 strand cable inside HH 402-3. (FOCA402-1 1-43) 5.7. Contractor shall install a 6 strand Singlemode loose tube fiber optic cable from the newly installed 48 strand fiber cable in MH402-10 to building 150 using the existing manhole system. (FOCA402-1 1-6) 5.8. Contractor shall terminate the 6 strand Singlemode fiber cable onto the fiber patch panel at Bldg. 150 using SC-Type fiber connectors. 8 5.9. Contractor shall install a 6 strand Singlemode loose tube fiber optic cable from the newly installed 48 strand fiber cable in MH402-10 to building 142 using the existing manhole system. (FOCA402-1 7-12) 5.10. Contractor shall terminate the 6 strand Singlemode fiber cable onto the fiber patch panel at Bldg. 142 using SC-Type fiber connectors. (FOCA402-1 7-12) 5.11. Contractor shall install a 12 strand Singlemode loose tube fiber optic cable from the newly installed 48 strand fiber cable in MH402-10 to building 147 using the existing manhole system. (FOCA402-01, 13-24) 5.12. Contractor shall install a 24-port fiber optic patch panel into the lockable equipment rack in building 147's IT rack in the IT closet. 5.13. Contractor shall terminate the 12-strand Singlemode fiber cable onto the fiber patch panel at Bldg. 147 using SC-Type fiber connectors. (FOCA402- 01, 13-24). 5.14. Contractor shall install a 12 strand Singlemode loose tube fiber optic cable from the newly installed 48 strand fiber cable in MH402-10 to building 890 (Forensics) using the existing manhole system. (FOCA402-01, 25-36) 5.15. Contractor shall install a 24-port fiber optic patch panel into the lockable equipment rack in building 890's IT rack in the IT closet. 5.16. Contractor shall terminate the 12-strand Singlemode fiber cable onto the fiber patch panel at Bldg. 890 using SC-Type fiber connectors. (FOCA402- 01, 25-36) 5.17. Contractor shall test fiber optic cable with fiber optic cable power meter and provide the FLETC Technicians a printout of the fiber optic test results. 6. Equipment 6.1. All equipment identified in 4.1, 7. Documents 7.1. Updated AutoCAD Drawings from task 1-2. 8. Period of Performance 8.1 Period of performance for this contract is not to exceed 90 days from contract award date.
