Description

The Work to be performed consists of the replacement of pump bases for three existing dry well submersible pumps (335 Hp), for the purpose of remediating pump vibration and harmonic issues. Existing pumps are to be reinstalled on new fabricated, stainless steel pump bases, designed and provided by the Owner. The work will also consist of replacement of 18-in suction valves for each pump (and one additional pump, which already has a new pump base). Work is located at the bottom of a wastewater treatment plant influent pump station, approximately 140-ft below grade, accessible by stairs and elevator. The Work shall be completed while the PCPS wetwell is out of service and drained.
