City of Snoqualmie Water Reclamation Facility Improvements - Phase 3 The City of Snoqualmie (City) is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from consulting firms with expertise in design and construction of wastewater facility projects. This request is for engineering consulting services for preliminary design of Phase 3 improvements to the City Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The City requires assistance with project planning; permitting; preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports; and related professional services extending through preliminary engineering, reporting, and agency approval. Project Description: The City WRF is designed to treat up to 2.15 million gallons per day (MGD) of wastewater and seasonally produce up to 1.56 MGD Class A Reclaimed Water. Improvements are needed to the City WRF to address projected deficiencies related to the existing WRF oxidation ditches, secondary clarifiers, and reclaimed water filters. These improvements have been identified in the draft General Sewer Plan and incorporated into the most current Capital improvement Plan (CIP). Please note that the Snoqualmie City Hall has limited hours due to the ongoing COVID pandemic. If submittal packages will be hand delivered, please call in advance and arrange for delivery. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. |
