Description

Turn-key Light-Emitting Diode (LED) outdoor signage system on the pedestrian bridge spanning Waterside Drive. The LED signage system will align with several City goals including: 1. Collaboration with the community to increase citizen engagement around various events and programs, 2. Increasing the number of interactions on digital platforms for local non-profit and partner agencies, 3. Increasing citizen engagement on emergency and road closure messages, and 4. Increasing and improving City communication opportunities on a new, high visibility platform. A successful project will meet the following strategic goals: 1. Provide public information on an as-needed basis. 2. Provide a platform for advertising and marketing communications. 3. Provide for operation from remote sites. 4. Provide for pre-scheduled message changes. 5. Provide for emergency notifications. 6. Provide ability for designated City staff to shut down all messaging without delay. 7. Provide ability to rotate out/replace screens from structural bracket without bracket replacement.
