Construction Quality Control and Testing Services

The Scope of Services will include, but not be limited to, a construction materials testing laboratory (herein identified as Consultant), with minimum 5 years of experience, to supply qualified personnel to provide field and lab sampling and testing, of various construction materials on “as-needed” basis to support MSCAA’s AIP program, all in full conformance with MSCAA and FAA standards of quality and consistency. Individual projects or tasks will be assigned by written Task Order with commensurate scope and fee described. Consultant must maintain the full field and lab operation conforming to ASTM D3666 plus full accreditation of the personnel and facility by a nationally-recognized independent evaluation authority such as AASHTO or A2LA. Consultant shall be responsible for compilation and maintenance of all testing records and materials documentation as part of each project’s permanent record, and Consultant must work closely with, and receive instruction from, MSCAA-designated project and program managers. All personnel must pass all Airport Security Requirements commensurate with their level of work and responsibility. Initial contract term is for three years with two additional one year extensions to be activated at MSCAA's option
