A. Work of this Section shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents, including but not limited to General Conditions, the Supplementary General Conditions, Instructions to Bidders and technical specification sections with any attached reference drawings. B. This Section specifies the requirements for protection of workers; prevention of contamination of adjacent areas; performing lead-abatement, post-abatement cleaning, pre-disposal testing of removed materials; and appropriate disposal of removed materials. C. Furnish all labor, materials, supervision, construction tools and equipment necessary to remove and dispose, or save for reuse, all lead-based painted items disturbed during renovation. Work shall be completed by person(s) trained to conduct lead hazard reduction activities as required by the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP) 40 CFR 745, Subpart E.
