| Description | Project will consist of a shared use bicycle and pedestrian path which will transition from a separate 10-foot bicycle path and 6.8 foot pedestrian sidewalk to be constructed to the south along South Franklin Street at the approved Pavion development under construction. The Project will also be required to transition at the north side of the Depew Street intersection to accommodate a separate in-road bicycle lane and the continuation of an ADA pedestrian sidewalk along South Franklin Street. The width of the area from the South Franklin Street curb to the fence along the Nyack Community Garden is approximately 14 feet. The consultant will need to design the 12-foot shared use path within this area. The Project consists of the installation of approximately 315 linear feet of porous asphalt for the delineated bicycle/pedestrian path along the entire length of the east side of South Franklin Street between Hudson and Depew Avenues. The designer will need to remove and reconstruct ADA accessible curb ramps within the project limits and grade, seed and mulch the disturbed areas.
