I-82/Columbia River Bridge EB - Special Repairs

The existing truss wind shoes on the eastbound I-82 Columbia River Bridge at the WA/OR state boundary are in need of repair. Replace the existing wind shoes to preserve the structural integrity of the bridge. As of January 12, 2023, this project is in Final Planning status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the Third quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in second quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2024. A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
