Description | The Project includes, but may not be limited to, the following major items: 22,284 lineal feet of 16" C900 water line and appurtenances 2,056 lineal feet of C900 fusible PVC directional bore and appurtenances Pump Station - complete with pumps, piping, and electrical Actual estimated quantities for the above items and all other items for the project are listed on the Proposal forms. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested herein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than May 31, 2023. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Belmont County as determined by the Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). This project is required to comply with the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. A non-refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Village of Barnesville hereafter defined as the Owner, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all Proposals, to increase or decrease or omit any item(s) and to award to the lowest and best qualified Bidder. |
