SB 267, Repair Exterior Walkways, Aspen Building, CC 2039

This project includes the implementation of repairs to water-damaged elements at the elevated walkway and adjoining bridges and associated stucco soffits along the south side of the Aspen Building on Pikes Peak Community College’s Centennial Campus. This includes the removal of three cast-in-place concrete stairs and the installation of two new galvanized steel stairs. A portion of the elevated walkway will be enclosed and provided with a new entrance vestibule and a supplemental HVAC system. Guardrail modifications will be made, and new metal cladding and soffits will be installed. The project will include modifications to the slopes of the walkways, new deck coating, additional drains on the walkways, and associated electrical and lighting modifications throughout.
