CONCONULLY COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER

Bid date has been extended from 11/10/22 to 12/1/22. Notice is hereby given that the Town of Conconully, Okanogan County, Washington, will accept sealed bids for the Conconully Community Service Center Project The project consists of building a new Community Services Complex building which includes a new Fire Hall. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. This project is funded/partially funded by the Community Development Block Grant program with federal funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Proposals are to be submitted on the forms provided within the Contract Provisions. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashiers check, or certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposed. Failure to furnish a bid bond in compliance with the Towns bid deposit surety bond form shall make the bid non-responsive and cause the bid to be rejected. The Town of Conconully reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time announced for the bid opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. The Town of Conconully in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
