2018 Water Main Improvements - Phase 1A

Furnish all labor, materials, accessories, equipment, tools, transportation, services and technical competence necessary for the installation of new water mains. The Work shall include the installation one inch (1”) service taps to residential properties and reconnection of these properties to the newly installed 4”, 6”, 8”, and 10” water mains as required. The project scope shall include all system appurtenances including but not limited to gate valves, air release valves, fire hydrants, and backflow preventers. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all regulatory approvals, including the Department of Health and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, for performing all testing and disinfection required to commission newly installed water mains and services. The old Asbestos Concrete water pipes shall be filled with grout and abandoned in place.
