Description

The Scope of Work shall include, but is not limited to the following general items: 1) Contractor to perform all work in the Bid Package and associated work described elsewhere in the Plans and Specifications including all labor, material, permits, tools, equipment, hoisting, safety and fall protection, scaffolding, layout, etc. needed to complete the Bid Package per the plans and specifications and any applicable regulations (including OSHA regulations), codes, and recognized industry standards to provide a complete assembly for the intended use as most broadly defined. 2) All submittals, shop drawings, samples and mock-ups required by the contract documents must be submitted within 10 calendar days of the Notice of Award of the Contract. 3) Furnish all licenses and permits and arrange for inspections and required testing as required by and for this contractors work. 4) Protection of adjacent surfaces and repair of any damage caused by the work of the contractor. 5) Subcontractor agrees to provide manpower and equipment necessary, as required by the CM Master Schedule, toprovide additional crews, equipment, etc. and or overtime necessary to maintain the schedule if contractor falls behind for any reason. After 24 hours written notice, there will be a $500 liquidated damages clause for each daythe contract is not completed. 6) Contractor to provide for its employees all necessary safety training and fall protection as required by authorities having jurisdiction. 7) Provide all scaffolding, work platforms, equipment and supplies to complete all work performed in this contract. 8) Coordinate material deliveries with construction manager and provide employee to receive deliveries. 9) Contractor shall perform DAILY CLEAN UP his work and work area to maintain safe working conditions on the project, including but not limited to excess material, lunch trash and dirt and debris on streets and sidewalks. All trash generated from this contractors work or forces shall be removed by contractors own forces and equipment for placement in on-site dumpster provided by others. 10) Contractor shall attend weekly project coordination meetings while performing work on the site. If the bid exceeds $50,000, it shall be accompanied by Bid Security: an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, or a certified check, or a cashiers check made payable to the Bristow Public Schools or a Corporate Surety Bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Oklahoma, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid (unless otherwise specified in the bid documents) which is submitted as bid security, conditioned upon the Bidders entering into a contract with the Bristow Public Schools in accordance with the terms of the bid. It is agreed that said bid security of the successful bidder will constitute liquidated damages, and not a penalty for the failure of the bidder to enter into a contract in accordance with this In submitting the bid, it is understood that the right is reserved by Bristow Public Schools to reject any and all bids, and it isagreed that this bid may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of closing of same. Work is to start within ten (10) days after receipt of WORK ORDER. bid. All awarded bid packages in excess of $50,000 will require a Performance and Payment Bond as identified in Oklahom.
