Panama City Beach (PCB) Conservation Park Classroom Building

The City of Panama City Beach hereby solicits sealed bids for the construction of a new classroom building at the Conservation Park. The building will house two new park restrooms, a classroom meeting space, and an office for the park biologist. The project includes all site disturbances, foundation, complete structure, building envelope and MEP for the building. Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the project in its entirety as described in the contract documents. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the Bid shall accompany the Bid. The City is not responsible for any technical difficulties that may result from virtual attendance and the City will not postpone or delay the pre-bid conference due to technical difficulties associated with virtual attendance. The City shall award the contract to the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder; provided, that the City Council may award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bidder should it find the lowest bidder does not offer the reliability, quality of service or product afforded by such other bidder. Where a bid other than the lowest bid is taken, the City Council shall state the reasons upon which such award was made. Each bidder must comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida.
