Description | The property and improvements at 876 Lakeview Drive, in Prince's Lakes, Indiana (the "Subject Property"), have been found to be unsafe premises and are subject to corrective orders issued by the Prince's Lakes Unsafe Building Enforcement Officer and Unsafe Building Commission to Monica Spears, the owner of the Subject Property. The Town is inviting sealed LEGALS bids from only licensed contractors, to accomplish work to comply with those orders, described as follows: 1. Completely demolish the house, garage, deck, on the Subject Property and remove all resulting debris, including contents of those structures, and all other materials, litter and trash; and 2. Fill and grade level the Subject Property in the areas of the house, garage and deck. (the "Work"). The Work shall be performed in accordance with a written contract between the successful bidder and the Town in the form on file with the Town's Building Inspector and must be completed within thirty (30) days. ONLY INDIANA LICENSED CONTRACTORS ARE ELIGIBLE. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The outside of the envelope must be marked to indicate that it contains a bid for 876 Lakeview Drive. Indiana. The contract for the Work, if awarded to any bidder, will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The bid price of the contractor to whom a contract may be awarded and an amount representing a reasonable estimate of the costs incurred by the Town in processing the matter may, if not paid, be recorded, after a hearing, as a lien against all persons having a fee interest, life estate, or equitable interest in the Subject Property. The Town reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids and to reject any and all bids. A copy of the bids submitted may be obtained from the Town's Building Inspector. |
