Snow Removal Metra Lots

Contractor shall perform the maintenance; furnish all labor, equipment, and supplies for the removal of snow from the Village Metra Lots commencing when Village personnel contact the contractor per snow event. a) All work shall be completed, whereby the snow will be removed from all designated sites as indicated on the map per snow event. b) Work shall commence upon notification by Village personnel. c) Due to the confined location of the Metra Lots it will be necessary for snow removal operations to take place on off peak times when the lot is empty. There are nine areas of the Metra Parking Lots to be snowplowed i. Lot located west of 27 E Grand Avenue ii. Fox Lake train station parking lot (4) Lots on Nippersink Blvd. iii. Parking lot located behind 20 E Grand Avenue iv. 23 South Street lot v. Fox Lake Ingleside parking lot (located on the south side of Washington St. and Grand Avenue.) vi. 18 E Grand Avenue parking lot This contract may be subject to payment of Prevailing Wages. Each contractor is to submit their bid as indicated in the Specifications. Award of Contract: The Village of Fox Lake Board of Trustees will make the final award of the proposal or contract. The contract shall be for a one year period, but may be extended on an annual basis at the option of the Village in its sole and absolute discretion, for up to two additional years, on the terms in the bid document submitted in response to the request for proposal. No oral comments will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the RFP and Specifications or other contract documents. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bidding.
