Description | Vecino Construction is the general contractor for the Renaissance - 700 Broad project located at 700 Broad Street, Utica, NY 13501. The project is an adaptive reuse and restoration of 700 Broad Street, formerly the historic Avalon Knitting Mill. The proposed project includes the introduction of 74 mix of one and two bedrooms (mostly one bedroom) apartment units surrounding and overlooking an enclosed courtyard / atrium Community Space. Vehicular access is provided off Jay Street with parking along north and west elevations, with patron access at the northeast and southwest corners. Southern and Eastern elevations are pedestrian friendly spaces with walks and green space with mature trees. The intent of this renovation project is to undertake a comprehensive upgrade of the entire complex of buildings and site with potential for expansion to the northwest corner of the parcel for additional residential apartments. A pre-bid site walkthrough will be set for Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 10:00 a m EST. Although the pre-bid site walkthrough is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged. Meeting location will be 700 Broad Street, Utica, NY 13501. *An Addendum and the responded RFIs to date have been uploaded for the project and you will need to access it accordingly. |
