Description | Suppliers are to meet in the parking lot of: Churchill Greens, 534 Belvedere Blvd., The Villages, FL 32162 All questions received by 4:00 PM on January 20, 2023 will be considered. Questions will not be answered over the phone. Questions must be in writing and emailed to Susi Belon at Susan.Belon@Districtgov.org The Village Development District is requesting bids for the renovation of Belvedere Golf Courses (Churchill and Belmont). Qualified firms wishing to respond for ITB # 23B-004 Belvedere Golf Courses Renovations, must provide all labor, services, equipment and materials described in this document, whether directly or through sub-contractors/sub-consultants. This does not, however, limit the use of sub- contractors or subconsultants. The intent of this ITB is to procure a qualified, professional Supplier for the renovation of a golf course who has ten (10) years of experience with projects of similar size and scope. Supplier shall provide a "Turn Key" job. The intent of this project involves improvements and renovations to the Belvedere Golf Courses (Churchill Greens and Belmont). This project includes; but is not limited to, new greens, tees, fairways and re-grassing of the course. Work on this project will begin upon awarded Supplier's receipt of Notice to Proceed. Completion is expected within 180 calendar days after the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The completion date may be extended due to unforeseen circumstances with the approval of the District. Successful Supplier will be responsible for all work according to the attached plans to include all materials, labor, and permitting required to complete the project in a timely and professional manner. Successful Supplier and any subcontractors will be required to attend a pre-construction meeting after the bid award is approved by the District and the Agreement has been executed by all parties. It is the intent of these specifications to describe a complete project fully acceptable to the District. Even though certain details may have been unintentionally omitted, the Supplier shall nonetheless perform all work necessary to complete the project to the highest industry standards and acceptable to the District. All materials and workmanship shall be first class and shall conform to the highest industry standards or the specifications, whichever requirements are more stringent. - Work hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, seven (7) days per week. - Any grass and landscaping damaged at the project site by Supplier shall be repaired to District Standards. Supplier is responsible for all repairs of damage to District standards. - A staging site will be supplied for parking of equipment, workman parking, for storing materials and supplies and for debris containers. The staging site must be adequately protected from any potential damage caused by any of the aforementioned. - Stock pile location as defined at the on-site pre-bid conference. - All areas are to be kept safe for workers and residents. Supplier is responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety precautions in accordance with all safety laws and regulations at the project site. Appropriate construction signage with penalties for trespass of non-construction visitors are to be posted. - Supplier shall designate a safety representative at the project site for the prevention of accidents and the supervision of safety precautions and programs. - All property improvements and construction projects are to be in compliance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). - Supplier shall have all current local, state and federal licenses as required to perform the work. - Supplier shall be responsible for obtaining all permits, inspections, tests and/or approvals. - Supplier will be responsible for demolition, disposal, and construction to include all materials, labor, equipment, and permitting required to complete the project in a timely and professional manner. - The Supplier may subcontract certain procedures or operations with the written approval of the District Management. Proof of proper licensing and insurance to be provided upon request. The Supplier is held responsible for any work performed by any subcontractor engaged. |
