| Description | Design-build-operate contractors to dewater storm water from an existing closed quarry pit located in Auburn Georgia. The project includes a floating Intake, 500 feet of 12-inch suc-tion pipe, engine driven pump, 1,200 feet of 12-inch force main, and storm water discharge into BMPs installed in the flood plain of Rock Creek. The contractor will present design calculations for the dewatering system. The project also include constructing a berm between mine process water and storm warter storage. |
