Riverside Drive Improvements Phase 3 and 4

This project will reconstruct approximately 3,000 feet of Riverside Drive from Orchard Drive to the northern property line of the existing Duke Park. The project scope will include new curb and gutter from Orchard Drive north to the Duke Park entrance. North of the park entrance a more country profile will be used with side ditches instead of curb and gutter. A left turn lane will be added northbound at the entrance to Duke Park. The Duke Park exit will also be widened to accommodate dedicated left and right turn lanes. The existing 50+ year old six-inch (6”) water line will be replaced with a twelve-inch (12”) main and an eight-inch (8”) sanitary sewer line will be extended north to County- owned property at 1625 Troy-Sidney Road. Sidewalks will also be extended on the east side of the road to the Duke Park entrance with pedestrian crossings marked at Orchard Drive, Nottinghill Lane and the north side of the Duke Park entrance.
