Doan - Surgical Extended Recovery

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Centerwishes to renovatethe current Doan Hall Pre-op/Post-op space into aSurgical Extended RecoveryUnit. The unit willrelocatefrom theThird floor of Brain and Spine Hospitalto the fourth floor of Doan Hall. The space will be subdivided into nine bays using demountable partition walls.Eight bays will be used for patientbeds with the ninth bay to be used as supply storage. The existing restroom, nurses’station, storage rooms and offices will be refreshed to match current Wexner Medical Center branding and building standards. An ADA restroom with shower will be added tothesuite. This renovation will take place inDoan HallSuite425 located at410 W 10thAvenue, Columbus, Ohio 43210.It consists of rooms 425 (2,170 SF); 425A (118 SF), 425B(125 SF), 425C (96 SF), 425D (164 SF), 425J (31 SF) and 425T (28 SF).The Architect/Engineer (A/E) will prepare thePOR as an Additional Service.TheA/E will work closely withthe Wexner Medical Center Interior Design Planner on finish selections.
