Hot-Mix Asphalt Overlay and Associated Work of Lyman Road within Portland Township

**As of March 6, 2023 project was not awarded due to price was too high. The township may re-bid the project this spring. Sealed bids will be received at the Whiteside County Highway Department Office, 18819 Lincoln Road for the following: Section #22-53000-01-GM Section consists of a Hot-Mix Asphalt overlay and associated work of 1.73 total miles of Lyman Road within Portland Township. Estimate of material quantities consist of: 143 Sq. Yds. of HMA Surface Removal (Butt Joints), 10,046 Lbs. of Bituminous Tack Coat, 1,955 Tons of HMA Mix C, N50, IL-9.5 (Surface) & 171 Tons of Aggregate Shoulders (Type B). No duplications of these forms will be allowed. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12) The Public Works Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and to accept the proposal which is most advantageous to Whiteside County. The Contractor shall have the construction completed by October 15th, 2022.
