City/County: Sangamon The Work Under This Contract Consists of Pipe Culvert Removal, Earth Excavation, Channel Excavation, Topsoil Removal and Placement, Aggregate Base Course, Class a-3 Bituminous Surface Treatment, Double Barrel (2 X Cast-in-place Concrete Box Culvert, and Associated Roadwork, Erosion Control, and Seeding Necessary to Complete the Project. Project Length is 250 Feet. Some Quantities Included in the Contract Are: Earth Excavation 116 Cu Yd; Aggregate Base Course, Type a 325 Ton; Concrete Box Culverts 82.5 Cu Yd; Reinforcement Bars, Epoxy Coated 15,090 Pound; Stone Riprap, Class A4 (Special) 40 Ton; Rockfill-replacement 113 Ton Project Location: Brittin Road (TR 292) over un-named stream, approximately 1.75 miles north of Andrew, IL Proposals requiring prequalification of bidders will be issued only to those contractors who are qualified with the Department of Transportation.
