Description

Veolia Water Milwaukee LLC Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility D&D Unit ASU-15 Repairs and Units ASU-21 & 22 Replacement Public Bid No. 58595A (Rebid) Bid packages for furnishing all plant labor, equipment, materials and performing all work necessary for this project. Bid results may be publicly viewed, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 no later than 2:30 p.m., electronically, www.veolianorthamerica.com/milwaukee/, or the Veolia Procurement Office, 1st Floor, Maintenance Building #280, located at the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility, 700 East Jones Street, Milwaukee, WI 53207. Questions pertaining to the proposed work should be directed to Larry Koch, 412-417-0431. The project contemplated herein consists of removing the cooling coil from Unit 258-ASU-15, replacing the heating coil in Unit 258-ASU-15, and replacing Units 258-ASU-21 and 258-ASU-22 with new units. All contractor and subcontractor employees shall obtain specific site plant safety training from Veolia Water prior to working on the site. Veolia Water will offer a total of two one-hour training sessions to the contractor and any subcontractors. The Contractor shall adhere to all Veolia Water safety policy and procedures. The time for completion of the Contract shall be one hundred and five (105) days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Veolia Water reserves its rights to reject any Bid, to reject all Bids, and any bid not conforming to the intent of the invitation for bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time not exceeding forty-five (45) days from the bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm and may not be withdrawn during this forty-five (45) day period. Veolia Water reserves its rights to waive any informality or deficiency in any Bid, to accept any Bid, to negotiate modifications of any Bid with any Bidder and accept any modified Bid, and to rebid the Project, all at Veolia Water's sole discretion.
