Rollins School Window Replacement Phase 2

The City of Lawrence invites bids from qualified vendors interested in providing the following for the City of Lawrence, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications outlined in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). A contract shall be awarded to a responsive and eligible contractor offering the lowest total bid price. ROLLINS SCHOOL WINDOW REPLACEMENT PHASE II Bidders must submit a five percent 5% bid deposit with their bid. All bids submitted in response to this Invitation for Bids will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates and OSHA Certifications. The City of Lawrence reserves the right to reject any or all bids or take whatever action is in the best interest of the City. PRE-BID WALKTHROUGH Site Visit: Each bidder is advised to visit the sites of the equipment and proposed workprior to submitting their bid. The purpose of this visit is to acquaint the bidders with anyand all conditions at the site and to identify, inspect and inventory the equipment.Interested bidders shall meet at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, at the Rollins School at 451 Howard Street Lawrence, MA 01840. The Contractor shall not be relieved from assuming all responsibility for properly estimating the difficulties and the cost of performing the services required with this IFB because of failure to investigatethe conditions or become acquainted with all the information concerning the services to be performed. Questions concerning this IFB must ONLY be submitted in writing to Lance Hamel, Capital Assets Project Manage, before 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2022. Questions may be emailed to lhamel@cityoflawrence.com. Written responses will be emailed to all bidders on record as having received the IFB package. The City of Lawrence has identified a sole point of contact with bidders for the purpose of this IFB. Any attempt to contact any other City of Lawrence employee or to circumvent these procedures in any manner may be grounds for disqualification of the bidder from the procurement process.
