Description | Delta Middle School Gym RTU Replacement 9800 N. CR 200 E. Muncie, IN 47303. The work consists of mechanical and electrical, and structural reinforcing work as indicated on the Bidding Documents for Delta Middle School RTU (Roof Top Unit) Replacement. Work includes demolition of existing rooftop HVAC units and provide new rooftop HVAC units in same locations as existing, including associated mechanical and electrical connections with structural steel truss reinforcing where required. Notice to proceed: On or around October 17, 2023 On site construction begins: January 16, 2024 Substantial completion: August 1, 2024 Final Completion: September 1, 2024 The work will be for a stipulated sum. Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by Odle McGuire Shook, Indianapolis, Indiana and its consultants dated September 15, 2023. Bidders may also obtain Bidding Documents from ReproGraphix for the cost of reproduction plus shipping and handling. Documents can be ordered online or contact ReproGraphix Inc., 437 N. Illinois Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204; Phone: (317) 637-3377. No refund will be made for these materials. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall accompany each Bid. Bid security may be in the form of a Bid Bond (A310), certified check or cashier's check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance & Payment Bonds for 100% of the Contract Sum prior to execution of Contracts. The Contract awarded will be conditioned upon and subject to the completion of financing by the Owner in an amount sufficient to cover the cost of construction, plus all incidental expenses, and will be subject to termination without penalty or liability at the option of the Owner any time after the date of award, in the event the Owner shall determine that such financing cannot be completed. Accordingly, a Bidder, by submitting a bid, expressly states that he is familiar with the requirements of Indiana Code 36-1-12-6 and agrees he will grant the Owner 30 days to award a Contract. |
