| Description | The work includes the provision of open and closed top roll-off containers to serve the Bristol Solid Waste Transfer Station and Special Waste Area to haul: approximately 7,400 tons per year of municipal solid waste to the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (RI RRC); and approximately 1,800 tons per year of cardboard, construction and demolition wood and sheetrock debris, bulky goods such as carpets, appliances, tires, asphalt shingles and light and heavy metals to properly licensed disposal reuse or recycling facilities. This contract includes the on-site collection of recycling from five (5) condominium developments in town and hauling to the RI RRC’s Municipal Recycling Facility (MRF). |
