Description

As of January 25, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, information regarding the awarded contractor and a timeline for construction have not been confirmed. Project No. : 150129.01-TAYL The Project consists of turn-key construction and installation of various downtown signage improvements for the City of Taylor, Texas as shown on the contract Documents prepared by SEC Planning, 4201 W. Parmer Lane, Bldg. A220, Austin, Texas 78727 dated sealed June 16, 2022. Located at multiple properties in Downtown Taylor. (Consult Construction Documents for exact locations) Contractor is responsible for providing As-built drawings at the end of the project that includes complete installation layout of the proposed improvements. Shop drawings to be submitted to owner/ owner's representative prior to fabrication and construction for approval. Including, but not limited to new turn-key install of new signage, including wayfinding signs, Farmers market Sign, Pole Banners, City Hall Sign, Illuminated Farmers Pavilion Sign and Illuminated Heritage Stage Sign, connected to City-provided power source. 2ND At Main Intersection improvements: Construction of a bulb-out on the northwest corner of 2nd Street and Main Street (SH 95), including curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, pavers, curb ramps, fixed bollards, curb inlet modification, and pedestrian signal poles. Alt bid includes installation of landscaping, water service, and irrigation. Downtown Striping: Restripe downtown streets to accommodate additional parking spaces, including removal of existing pavement markings, layout of proposed markings, proposed thermoplastic markings, fire lanes, and street signs. Downtown Signage: The Project consists of turn-key construction and installation of various downtown signage improvements, including wayfinding signs, farmers market sign, pole banners, city hall sign, illuminated farmers pavilion sign, and illuminated heritage stage sign, connected to City-provided power source. Downtown Streetscape: The Project consists of turn-key construction and installation of various downtown landscape improvements including new planting, mulch, trees, and topsoil.
