Memorial Hall Renovations

The Borough of Jim Thorpe currently has two projects out to bid - The Memorial Hall Renovation. The Owner would like Contractors, if they are so inclined, to Bid on both Projects, and Work on them simultaneously. Provisions for multi-contract discounts are included in the full bidding documents. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 1/4/2021 4:00 PM Due to the recent issues with COVID-19, there is a required health screening prior to Pre-bid Conference for all participants. All participants of the Pre-Bid Meeting will be required to follow PA standards. BIDDER hereby agrees to commence WORK under this contract on or before a date to be specified in the NOTICE TO PROCEED and to fully complete the PROJECT within 270 consecutive calendar days thereafter. All Bidders must submit bid security in the amount of 10% of the Bid amount. Prior to execution of the Contract, the Bidder shall furnish Bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Both Bonds shall be separately written, each in the amount of the Contract Sum. The cost shall be included in the Bid. The Borough of Jim Thorpe reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to accept the Bid, which is in the best interest of the Borough.
