Description

Your firm is invited to submit a sealed Bid to Duchesne City for construction of its volunteer fire station addition with appurtenant facilities located at 100 East and 200 South in Duchesne City. Project Description: The project consists of constructing a 60 ft x 21 ft addition to the existing 4,200 sq ft fire station. The addition will be a 2-level steel building, 1,260 sq ft on each level, for 2,520 sq ft additional space. Relocation of a flag pole and an oil water separator will be required, as well as associated sewer lateral extensions to accommodate the new facility; other appurtenances will be required. This project is funded in whole or in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small businesses. Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsible bidder will be selected. Owner requires the Project to be completed in 180 calendar days.
