Description | Date Email Questions Due March 28, 2023, 2:00PM The Colorado Army National Guard (COARNG) is requesting bids to construct a Classroom at the Aurora Readiness Center located at 55 South Potomac Street, Aurora, CO. The base bid for this building addition is an insulated building shell approximate affected area is 2,460 SF. completely enclosed with all exterior finishes complete and watertight with limited interior finishes and furnishings. On the exterior a metal entrance ramp and landing is to be included. Alternate Bid Items, ABI's, are described in detail in the project specification and generally include: ABI#1: Dividing walls defining the break room and training room, kitchenette finishes, doors and ceiling ABI#2: Kitchenette appliances, window treatments, wall hung white boards and audio-visual equipment ABI#3: Construct concrete entrance ramp and landing in place of fabricated metal ABI#4: Provide and install tile finishes where specified. Lockers in Men's and Woman's Locker Area ABI#5: Add countertops and counters in equipment storage and mechanics reference room ABI#6: Widen two doors in the existing building ABI#7: Upgrade kitchenette windows ABI#8: Upgrade floor finishes ABI#9: Add acoustic tile ceiling equipment storage room. ABI#10: Interior Painting existing building This project includes structural, mechanical, electrical and acoustic work. Other parts of the project include utility location, saw cutting, trenching, excavating, and concrete replacement. Minimum Requirements Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that all firms will be required to meet all minimum requirements to be considered for this project. To be considered as qualified, interested firms shall have, as a minimum: 1. Provided General Contracting services within the last three (3) years for at least two (2) projects each in excess of $1,000,000.00 (hard costs), utilizing the expertise present in their Colorado Office; and 2. Demonstrated specific General Contracting experience in projects of similar scope and complexity; and 3. Demonstrated bonding capability up to $1,000,000.00 for an individual project coincidentally with current and anticipated workloads; provide letter from surety that affirms this capacity. Preference shall be given to Colorado resident bidders and for Colorado labor, as provided by law. |
