Description

1. The Project shall consist of four (4) existing slides at the Clayton County International Park facility. 1.1 Closed to Open Tube Slide (314’) – Red and Gray 1.2 Closed Flume Tube Slide (362’) – Blue and Yellow 1.3 Closed Flume Body Slide (262’) – Green and Blue 1.4 Open Flume Body Slide (289”) – Green and Blue 2. Bidder shall provide the following: 2.1 Clean, polish, and wax the entire inside of slide (start tub, exit panels, open flume sections, and ride path of closed flume sections). 2.2 Restore outside of all flumes (top and bottom). 2.3 Repair all structural imperfections in ride path. 2.3.1 Structural imperfections is defined as any damage that is an obvious threat to the guests, (i.e. a chip or scrape with a sharp edge). This is not to be confused with cosmetic repair, (i.e. a spider crack with no flaking or raised edge). 2.3.2 All repairs shall be done with vinyl-ester resin or similar product. 2.4 Recaulk seams as needed. 2.4.1 Seams shall be caulked with a Sikaflex or 3M 4000 or similar product. 3. Bidder shall provide maintenance on all slides: 3.1 Inspect & tighten all bolts to manufacture torque specifications on all structural steel and tubes / Replace defective hardware with manufacture recommended hardware. This includes stairs, landings, railings, columns, tubes, supports, pier mounting bolts and all other structural steel. 3.2 Inspect all structural steel for cracks or concerns / Replace structural steel with manufacture recommended replacement parts if issue is found. This includes stairs, landings, railings, columns, supports, pier mounting brackets and all other structural steel. 3.3 Inspect all structural steel welds for any cracks or issues / make repairs to compromised welds by a certified welder. This includes stairs, landings, railings, columns, supports, pier mounting brackets and all other structural steel. 3.4 Inspect entire structure to make sure that it is plumb, level, and no settling has occurred. Adjust or shim to manufacture’s recommendation to correct concerns and/or issues. 3.5 Inspect concrete structural pier supports for any compromising issues due to settling, cracking, or chemical detrition.
