Convention Center Campus Dry Sprinkler Pipe Replacement

Replace end of life equipment of Dry Sprinkler Pipe Systems. These systems are corroded on the inside and exhibiting pin hole leaks which drops the air pressure (psi) below 50 psi inside the dry sprinkler pipes and triggers the system to release the water into the sprinkler pipes. This situation causes and automatic "Water Flow" alarm and activates a full building fire alarm evacuation. The random pin-hole air leaks can cause unannounced evacuation of the West or North-South buildings at any time and makes the operation of the building for the event /show /conference an unpredictable event. Dry Pipe Replacement Project will replace the Dry Sprinkler System at the West Building, North-South Building and the Connector Pedestrian Bridge, to improve the reliability of the system. the removal and replacement of the exterior ceilings as required to execute the dry pipe sprinkler system replacement.
