Charles Lind Brown Drainage

Beaufort County desires to remove and replace a trench drain system along the back side (east) of the existing Charles Lind Brown Recreation Center. The plan involves the demolition of an existing trench drain, concrete apron, and chain link fence, followed by the placement of a larger trench drain tied into the existing outlet pipe, regrading of the concrete apron, and reinstallation of the fence. Work on the trench drain along the separate pool house is NOT included. The associated plans include specifications for this work in addition to an extensive interior remodel and roof replacement. All work to the building itself is NOT part of this contract. Those applicable plan set items can be ignored. The construction zone must be protected from the public and their use of the building and pool. The contractor is responsible for adequate job site fencing and access control. Emergency exits must be maintained at all times, while the non-emergency use of the exits can be controlled. Unforeseen conditions on the site that might arise in subsurface investigation can be addressed by change order. If a reasonable price cannot be determined, the County shall require the work be done on a time and materials plus profit cost method. SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO: Vendor Registry
