Water Storage Tank Inspection and Cleaning

Water storage facilities shall be cleaned at least once every (5) five years to remove bio-growths, calcium or iron / manganese deposits, and sludge from inside the tanks; and shall be inspected for structural and coating integrity every (5) five years under the responsible charge of a current professional engineer licensed in Florida. The main focus of this project is to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the interior and exterior condition of our water storage facilities. Also, the work will include the removal and disposal of any foreign matter from our water storage facilities at the contractor’s expense. The objective of the project is to provide Martin County Utilities with detailed information and recommendations to maximize the serviceable life of each facility.

Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Facility Fuel Piping, Facility Fuel-Storage Tanks.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Clearing and Grubbing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Fences and Gates.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities.
