HVAC Improvements South District Wastewater Treatment Plant

The project scope of work is to furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to upgrade the HVAC systems for the Main Switchgear Building #2 and the Polymer Building in accordance with the details specifications contained in the bidding documents. Project Duration: 360 Calendar Days to Substantial Completion, 400 Calendar Days to Final Completion, plus a 40 Calendar Day Contingency Period Location - South District Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 8950 SW 232nd Street Miami, Florida, 33190 This contract has Small Business Enterprise (SBE) goals as follows: Construction 10.13%, Goods 8.83%, Services 0%. Goals are based on the construction estimate plus the 10% Contingency Allowance. This contract has no Community Workforce Program goal. The Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful contractor must execute a one hundred (100%) Surety Performance and Payment Bonds. NO BIDDER MAY WITHDRAW HIS BID WITHIN 120 DAYS FROM BID OPENING DATE. The Board of County Commissioners, Miami-Dade County, Florida, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid or to re-advertise for bids. Bids from any person, firm or Corporation in default on other contracts or agreements with the County may be rejected. Failure by the Bidder to satisfy claims on previous contracts with the County may be cause for rejection of his bid. The County reserves the right to postpone or cancel the bid opening at any time prior to the scheduled opening of bids. Estimated Range of the Base Bid - $5,039,942.29 to $6,098,051.72, not including contingency and dedicated allowances. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
