Nevill Road - Greasewood Transmission Line Material

Greasewood This project consists of the specifications and drawings for bids for the material associated with the construction of the 345-kV Nevill Road to Greasewood Single Circuit Transmission Line project described below. Prices will be based on the unit prices provided in the attached “Nevill Road to Greasewood Material Bid Sheet.” The overall project consists of building a new single circuit 345-kV transmission line that will run from the proposed Nevill Road Switch to Greasewood Substation. The total line length from Nevill Road to Greasewood is approximately 9.9 miles. All new structures will be galvanized steel monopoles and utilize either a direct embedded or drilled shaft foundation. The new line will be designed to support one (1) three-phase circuit of 795 ACSR “DRAKE” transmission conductor consisting of two (2) wires per phase. Cut Ins This project consists of the specifications and drawings for bids for the material associated with the construction of the 345-kV Bakersfield to N. McCamey (Nevill Road Cut-Ins) Transmission Line project described below. Prices will be based on the unit prices provided in the attached “Bakersfield to N. McCamey Material Bid Sheet” and actual amounts as determined based on calculations. The overall project consists of cutting in the existing Bakersfield – N. McCamey 345-kV transmission line in the new Nevill Road station. All new structures will be monopoles and utilize drilled shaft foundations. The new line will be designed to support one (1), three phase circuit of 1590 ACSR “LAPWING” transmission conductor consisting of one (2) wires per phase.
