Description

This project consists of a 9,163 square foot facility for training, including two assembly areas, and offices and workspace for training staff. This facility will include the required circulation systems, restrooms, break areas, and mechanical and electrical spaces, and is to be co-located with the existing office building on the Training Academy Campus. It shall be constructed to meet all applicable building and life safety codes, ADA / Texas Accessibility Standards, and comply with ASHRAE Standard 90.1; to be elevated above the existing floodplain and constructed to withstand storm force winds published for its location. Construction is to include an elevated electrical service with generator pad, new wastewater lines with lift station, repaved parking surfaces, vehicle entrances and fencing. All work shall be performed as shown in the construction plans prepared by the TDCJ Facilities Engineering Department. HUB Goal 21.1%.
