Description

For Park Improvements - Purchase and Installation of Playground Equipment Sealed bids for Park Improvements funded by Community Development Block Grant Love Louisiana Outdoors Program for Fiscal Year 2021, consisting the purchase and installation of playground equipment at Nall Park (548 Haas St) and City Park (216 Park St) Plans and specifications may be examined, without charge, in the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 224 Main Street, Krotz Springs, Louisiana, 70750, (337) 566-2322, or at or at the offices of Aucoin & Associates, Inc., 433 N. C.C. Duson Street, Eunice, LA 70535 For additional sets of documents and for documents issued to subcontractors or material suppliers, the cost of reproduction and mailing of each set will be deducted and a balance of $100.00 refunded. Said refunds will only be made for a complete set of documents in good condition returned within 10 days following bid opening. Partial sets of documents will not be issued. Each bidder must have an active Unique Entity ID (SAM), as verified prior to the beginning of construction. Bids must be submitted on Bid Forms furnished for this purpose by the Engineers. The bidder must execute all blanks in the bid proposal, or the bid will not be considered. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, forms, and subject to the conditions provided for in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. The Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, Executive Order 11246, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements. Minority, female, and Section 3 participation is hereby encouraged by the Town of Krotz Springs. Any person with disabilities requiring Special Accommodations must contact the Town no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening. IN PARTICULAR, BIDDERS SHOULD NOTE THE REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS TO BE EXECUTED AND SUBMITTED WITHT THE BID PROPOSAL. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis-Bacon Act, the anti-Kickback Act and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Town of Krotz Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
