Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center Replacement of Natatorium Units

1. Provide an extension to the owners existing Siemens Building Automation System (BAS) 2. Provide labor to make safe existing control wiring to AHU 4, 5, & 6. 3. Provide labor and material to connect AHU 5 & 6 to existing Siemens BAS a. Units shall be shipped with factory provided and installed controls required to meet sequence of operation. b. Siemens will provide hardwired points to be terminated on factory provided and wired terminal strip. c. Monitoring and control points displayed on the BAS shall be limited to the following: supply temp, return temp, room temp, room humidity, On/Off control, and status. d. Provide field wiring to install sensors shipped loose with AHU. Existing wiring shall be reused where possible. e. Mount and wire operators display provided by others. 120V power for panel shall be provided by others. f. Provide interlock wiring between AHU and CU g. Reuse or expand existing Siemens PXCM panels to meet sequence of operations 4. Provide labor and material to connect AHU 4 to existing Siemens BAS a. Provide field installation of new DDC controls in accordance with M701. b. Provide new PXC panel or TX-I/O expansion on existing PXCM panel. If new PXC panel is required, GMU will provide network drop for new panel. c. Provide (1) new Siemens room temperature and humidity thermostat to be installed in existing thermostat location. Existing wiring pathway shall be reused. d. Provide immersion temperature sensor for hot water temperature monitoring. Furnish well for installation by others. e. Outdoor, defrost control, and backdraft dampers provided by unit manufacture f. Furnish (2) control valves for installation by others.
