2021 WWTF UV Disinfection Upgrade

The work for which bids are asked includes an upgrade to the Allenton Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF), but are not limited to, the following: the construction of a new ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system; new stop gates; new weir; disinfection tank contents (liquid and solids) removal and cleaning; modifications to existing disinfection tank; fill in areas of existing disinfection tank for new effluent channel construction; new grating, plating, guardrail and handrails, and miscellaneous metals; removal of existing UV disinfection equipment and associated electrical; new electrical and controls work at both existing Structure 30 (UV Disinfection Tank) and existing Structure 40 (Blower Building); removal of existing stop gates; bypass pumping; turf restoration.
