Description

Perform maintenance dredging of the Hudson River, NY City to Waterford, New York, Federal Navigation Project: dredged material would be transported to and placed into a government furnished upland dredge material placement site. The proposed maintenance dredging would remove approximately 36,000 cubic yards of critical shoals from the Port of Albany Turning Basin. Dredging would be required to a depth of -32 feet Mean Low Water (MLW) plus 1 foot allowable overdepth. The dredged material is expected to consist primarily of silt and clay.
