Description

Three-year contract for the analytical testing, loading, hauling, land application, and agronomic management of approximately 1,500,000 gallons per year of wastewater plant biosolids. Depending on grant availability and timing, there is the potential for two digester rehabilitation projects within the span of this contract that would add approximately 1,000,000 gallons to the total contract, in addition to the normal land application quantities. Coordination and availability will be key to this project and it is probable that it will require an out of sequence land application of bio-solids. If the winning bidder of this contract is unable to meet the scheduling demands required by those projects, then the quantity of bio-solids subject to those projects will be exempt from this contract. While there is no guarantee that either of these projects will occur during the three-year span of this contract, it is the City’s intent to move in that direction and should be considered in the bidding process.
