The MBH will be of the open-end design (one top cross beam) and the main cross beam shall extend forward from the front of the columns to provide improved clearance for sail boat rigging, pilot houses, and other craft accessories. The structural framework shall incorporate a pivot (trunnion pin) to allow all four wheels to maintain ground contact without inducing adverse loads into the structural frame caused by uneven surfaces. The coating system shall be suitable for marine environments. Lift system shall consist of four (4) independently controlled direct drive hydraulic winches driven by individual pump sections and capable of lifting at 5 ft./minimum under full load. The MBH shall be able to operate in wind speeds up to 30 MPH and in temperatures at least as low as negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
