AHX1 Air Handler, Supply and Return Fans, Associated Variable Frequency Drives

The Town of Bethel seeks vendors to provide an AHX1 Air Handler Unit (RFP #2023-03) Supply and return fans (RFP #2023-05) as well as Associated variable frequency drives (RFP #2023-06) for the Bethel High School AHX1 Air Handler Unit located at 300 Whittlesey Drive, Bethel CT 06801. The Town of Bethel is interested in pre-purchasing the replacement unit for AXH-1 and the associated rooftop condensing unit. AXH-1 is a 10,800-cfm indoor air handling unit with a remote dunnage mounted 40 ton condensing unit. Vender shall include all costs to furnish the equipment specified including start up and demonstration. The vendor shall provide with this bid a submittal of equipment being supplied. The Town plans to purchase the equipment and assign the purchase order over to a contractor to be named at a later date who will receive and install the equipment. Please provide an estimated date of delivery for the unit. The Town also is going to solicit bids for the supply and return fans as well as their associated variable frequency drives. Those items will also be assigned over to a contractor to be named at a later date. The Board of Selectman, upon recommendation of the Procurement Committee, reserves the right to accept and/or reject any portion of said bid, to waive any technicality in any bid or part thereof, and to accept any bid as provided in Section 8-13c of the Charter of the Town of Bethel.
