The solicitation is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting in contract shall be a firm fixed price (FFP). The anticipated bid opening date is set for 16 July 2019, however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. The work consists of the removal of shoal material within the Barataria Bay Bar Channel, and satisfactory disposal thereof within the allowable Grand Terre Island disposal site(s) as shown on contract drawings. Minimal dike work is required, with potential soft dikes (hay rounds) required to train effluent waters. The estimated value of this work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
