Description | Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction of the project known as the Nile Garden Well 30 Equipping Project according to plans and specifications and according to the contract documents. The Work includes the construction and installation of a potable water well site which includes well pump building, site improvements and fencing, landscaping, irrigation piping and valving, manganese and arsenic treatment systems, pumps, and instrumentation equipment, and approximately 6,500 linear feet of 12-inch pipeline to serve Nile Garden Elementary School. Bid guarantee in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid dollar amount and conforming to the prescribed bidding procedures is required to be submitted with each bid, as a guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder, if awarded the contract, fail to enter into the same, or fails to furnish in a timely manner the bonds and/or proof of insurance. Project shall have Substantial Completion with 365 calendar days and Final Completion within 395 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Time for commencement and completion of the work is important. Time is of the essence in completing contract work in the specified number of calendar days. Any time delays due to chain supply issues will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, as well as a Faithful Performance Bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. All bonds submitted shall be from admitted sureties. The deadline to submit questions is 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on October 11, 2023.
