Description

The specifications listed below are mandatory unless otherwise specified. 1. All debris resulting from demolition / cleanup operations shall be removed as it accumulates and shall not be allowed to be stored on site. 2. Debris shall not be burned on the site. 3. Demolition / clean up shall be conducted in a safe and workmanlike manner in accordance with all Federal, State, and local Laws. 4. All surplus materials removed shall become the property of the contractor and shall be removed from the premises unless otherwise agreed. 5. All foundations shall be removed. 6. All Concrete shall be removed. 7. Entire lots shall be left in a mowable condition and have positive drainage that does not create pooling water. Additional dirt may be required to insure positive drainage after foundations and swimming pool are removed. 8. The City will schedule all utility disconnections. a. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure all utilities have been disconnected prior to beginning work. b. All utilities to any structure on the demolition/clean-up site, including gas, water, sewer, telephone or electrical connections shall be disconnected and dismantled back to source at ROW. Sewer connections shall be capped by contractor. 9. All Accessory buildings on property shall be demolished as part of this bid contract. 10. These structures will be used by Police and Fire for training purposes prior to demolition.
