Z--Window & Flashing Repair for BLM-UT KANAB

The Contractor shall remove the existing identified windows and associated flashing, trim, and caulk and reinstall the windows with new flashing, trim, and caulk to ensure a water tight installation. The head, jambs, and sill of each window shall be thoroughly cleaned of debris and old materials prior to reinstallation. Once the windows are reinstalled, the interior finished surfaces around each window shall be repaired to new condition. This will require the Contractor to remove and replace water damaged gypsum board, joint compound, and paint. Attachments include the existing paint formula (7001 marshmallow). Paint shall be of the same product or approved equal. Caulks and sealants shall be Latex base, rated for exterior use and shall be UV resistant. Flashing and caulk shall be able to withstand extreme temperatures and be durable and flexible, waterproof and mildew resistant, and suitable for window interior to resist shrinking or cracking, and shall be black in color. Product submittals shall be provided for all materials used.
