Description

Construction of a 14-foot high dam with total dam length of 182 feet long consisting of a reinforced concrete capped earthen berm with rock rip rap armor protection and a diversion berm intended to be used for the control of water and sediment. The project is located on an unnamed tributary of Johnson Creek approximately 2.8 miles west of Mountain Home in Kerr County, Texas. The dam will be located 5-miles west of the intersection of State Highway 27 and State Highway 41 near Mountain Home, Texas. The ranch entrance is located on the north side of State Highway 41. The dam site is located 3.25 miles past the entrance on State Highway 41. Latitude 30.185808° North, Longitude -99.424981° West.
